Example/About/Test Page
This test page was built to explore, test, and showcase website features as I learned how to make them.
Hopefully, it represents the look and feel of the future comic pages, and makes a good testbench for optimization.
Future iterations will hopefully utilise frontend or backend automation for webpage assembly so all I have to write is the dang content after making the webpage once, and things like image loading will perform a lot better. It goes without saying, pardon our dust.
It's got a little bit of junk cluttering it up, mostly for fun, mostly to experiment. If you're a visiting tester, have fun clicking around!
Images in this webcomic, for the most part, will have a small enlargement effect when moused over to indicate that they will display in fullscreen when clicked or tapped. This is a work-in-progress feature, and is meant to suppliment- not replace- the usual ability to download or open images in a new window to get a better look at them.
Here is some examples of how text is going to look like in this story. Regular text will be just like this, part of the narration or dialogue of the story.
This is an example block quote. User input will, when it conforms to certain guidelines and elegibility, appear here when selected.
One of the biggest challenges with putting this together is, surprisingly, not creating the visual or decorative elements of the website but choosing a font and meticulous distance between elements and blocks of text that feels good on the eyes, or at least looks "right" to me.
